The Great Adventure: Stop 5

The Great Adventure, wherein Tehvyn Brantley and father Leroy traverse the country to convince colleges that the 5-foot-8 Tehvyn really is a big-time wide receiver, is momentarily on hold.

After spending Tuesday dominating the wideouts at Tennessee's camp, Tehvyn & Dad returned to Charlotte, where his mother lives, for several days off. But his mother became ill, Leroy said today, and the trip to UCLA's camp today, California's camp Sunday and Rice's camp Monday all have been cancelled.

Instead, the pair expect to hop a Greyhound for Baton Rouge and LSU's camp on Tuesday, then hit Clemson's camp on Thursday when they return.

His offers remain from Central Michigan and Buffalo, but Leroy said they are no longer considering Buffalo at this moment. There is now interest from Florida and Tennessee, among others, but no more firm offers yet. -- Stan Olson
