And the rest of UNC's current Carolinas' junior recruiting targets

These North Carolina juniors have already been offered scholarships by the Tar Heels, according to InsideCarolina.com:

OLB Stephone Anthony of Anson; WR K.J. Brent of Marvin Ridge; TE Eric Ebron of Greensboro Smith, WR Marvin Harris of Northern Guilford, TE Drew Owens of Ardrey Kell, RB/S Brian Riggins of Tabor City South Columbus, OLB Christian Russell of Fayetteville Westover and WR T.J. Thorpe of Durham Jordan

Also, there are S.C. targets RB Shon Carson of Lake City and WR Sharone Peake of Spartanburg Dorman.

Jeez Stan...you gonna do this w/ Wake, NC State and Duke as well? Some people don't care about UNC as much as this paper apparently does.

^Your complex is showing.

Some people don't care to read your opinions either, Anonymous 4:21, yet you still felt the need to publish them.

I like how you can just lift news from pay sites and pretend it's journalism.

I wonder how frustrated Butch Davis gets coaching in an irrelevant place. I know UNC-CH checks cash as well as anyones, but it has to be especially frustrating after a loss when you’re consumed by the ultimate futility of it all. Go Hoos!

The meltdown will be complete after losing to UVA this weekend. Visor Boy Jr. will be run out of town. And a refund will be demanded. LOL!

Did anyone see that 3 of the top 6 recruits in the state have already committed to NC STATE!!! They are the power program here, not UNC.

It's interesting that after the article about how NC State is out- recruiting UNC for NC, there have been three straight articles about how UNC is doing with the Class of 2011. I guess someone was issued an edict this week. The more things change, the more they stay the same with journalism in NC.

uhh... i don't understand this blog post at all?

Also, i thought UNCCH fans didn't want to go after inferior "Carolinass'" talent, i thought they were after national talents?? Just something for the recruits to think about.

What bothers me about this "blog" is the fact that Stan fails to mention that UNC has dominated the state of NC for the last 3 years, especially last year with what was widely known to be NC strongest class in years. Also he fails to mention that even with NC State's "domination" in the state this year they have 2 more recruits than UNC and is only a spots ahead in the overall rankings at 38 vs. 44 (which shoud tell you the strength or lack of in the class), while UNC awaits decisions from Leifert, Kareem Martin, Ethan Farmer, Darius Lipford and Amerson..
