Inside Carolina's Don Callahan is reporting this afternoon that North Carolina has received the commitment of Russell Bodine. The 6-foot-4, 278-pound offensive lineman from Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy was in Chapel Hill for an unofficial visit.
Bodine chose UNC over finalists Virginia and Virginia Tech. He also considered offers from Vanderbilt, Boston College, Wake Forest, Rutgers, Stanford and California.
Scout.com ranks him as the No.11 center prospect in the country. --Stan Olson
