Alabama strengthens lead with CB Fulton

The three days couldn’t have been much better.

John Fulton, Manning High’s remarkable big (6-foot, 180 pounds) cornerback, is finishing a three-day stay at Alabama’s camp today that he said couldn’t have gone any better.

Fulton
, ranked No.8 in our S.C. Top 25 Prospects List, said he loved his visit and that Tuscaloosa, Ala., “felt like home.”

Fulton’s top five schools—all have offered scholarships, along with dozens more—remain Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee, in that order. But he said that the Crimson Tide increased its lead a bit with this camp.

But there’s more to come; Fulton is going from Alabama to Georgia, then is visiting South Carolina Saturday and Clemson the following Saturday. He’s also planning to camp at N.C. State, Florida, Maryland and Tennessee.

Alabama
couldn’t wriggle a commitment out of him, though; Fulton is planning to take all his visits before making a decision. –Stan Olson
