Southeast Raleigh High LB Kendall Moore has offers from 14 schools, but he says he’s in the process of cutting that list to seven over the next few days.
So far, three programs have made the cut—N.C. State, Notre Dame and South Carolina.
Moore, who is 6-foot-2 and 234 pounds, has plenty of options for those final four spots. He also has offers from area schools Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, North Carolina and Wake Forest, along with Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State and West Virginia.
Moore, who is the No.10 prospect on the Charlotte Observer N.C. Top 25 Prospects list, expects a busy summer, and will visit the Fighting Irish June 26. At some point, he plans to camp at Tennessee, which is expressing strong interest.

Be a Tarheel and play for the best coach in college football. He is building a winning program and will be turning away the top players from NC don't get on the bandwagon early and often.
Go heels, baby blue baby!
davis is past his prime. aren't there enough tarheel fans? Can't swing a dead cat without hitting one.
The "best coach in college football?" OH MY LORD...pass what you are smoking. There isn't a professional ranking list of coaches where Butch Davis breaks the Top 20. Don't get me wrong - he can recruit (I mean James Blake can), but he doesn't have the muster of a coach. BD is a has been in a yawner town for college football.
I think Skip Holtz is an even better coach than BD.
Tarheels couldn't even get 2000 fans at their spring game. Pack had 22,000.
Do what's best for you man...
don't be hating on my tarheels. They is the best football program in the State with the bestest fans too. Go big blue!
NC State beat every team in the state last year including a 41-10 beat down of UNC... they're the best team in the state and where Moore should end up
41-10
West Virginia... put on the old gold and blue and be prepared to be on national tv all the time along with winning bowl games. Cant say the same for some of the other schools you are considering...
