Charlotte Latin star Chadwick still looking

Charlotte Latin basketball standout David Chadwick has been released from his commitment to Washington State, but the 6-8, 215-pound forward is not expected to join former Cougars coach Tony Bennett at Virginia.

Recruiting analyst Bob Gibbons of All-Star Sports said Bennett was a family friend from when Bennett played with the NBA's Charlotte Hornets in 1992-95.

"I imagine David will have a lot of options," Gibbons said. "I think he is going to develop."

You would be hard pressed to find a better match between style and player as Chadwick and Butler seem to be. Being preseason Top 10 isn't bad for a freshman year either.

What does that say about his opinion of UVA??

Why not another year at Latin? He's been in high school there for about 6 years when you count reclassing and medical redshirts!

Yeah, UNCC only has the best Engineering program in the state, and an awesome Architecture and Business schools. But, yeah they have horrible academics.
Chadwick would do well by coming to Charlotte.
