Northern Guilford defensive end Chris McCain has committed to Oregon.
McCain, who is 6-foot-5½ and 200 pounds, made his announcement on ESPNU. He chose the Ducks over Maryland and California.
McCain, who was also being recruited by N.C. State, South Carolina and North Carolina among many others, is the No.11-ranked member of our NC Top 25 Prospects list. He has 4.65-second speed, and had 97 tackles and four sacks as a junior.
