Willis picks Tennessee Vols over Tar Heels

Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes High DE Brandon Willis, thought by North Carolina fans to have switched from Tennessee to the Tar Heels, capped a horrible day for UNC at the Army All-American Game in San Antonio.

He picked up the Tennessee cap over those of the Tar Heels and UCLA. And a player considered by many a North Carolina lock at the beginning of the week is a Vol again, where he had been committed earlier.

Willis' decision followed that of DT Sharrif Floyd (Florida) and CB Victor Hampton (South Carolina). earlier S Latwan Anderson had North Carolina as a finalist before picking West Virginia.

UNC coach Butch Davis is having a day he and his program would just as soon forget.

3 years ago, just having UNC hats on the table was a success, now we need to start seeing some of these kids put them on!! haha. Tough year, but luckily we have a year to get us by with our returning defense.

This is an UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE day for Coach Davis and UNC.

DB Matt Elam (6-0, 205, Palm Beach Gardesn Dwyer) squashed the hearts of Florida State fans, as he teased them with a one-week commitment and then reverse back tothe Gators on Saturday. He committed to the Gators during his junior year, but several factors caused him do decommit from the Gators a week ago and commit to FSU. This week, however, Elam said he had switched back to the Gators. He held true to that and he will enroll in schoolon Monday.

The Tenn. girls must have paid him a visit.

LOL. I love the irony of that. Carolina fans arrogance and ego enables them to think they are the best, but what does it mean when the best doesn't want you...Current NCAA Class Rank 68. LOL

Must have been too much SWAGGA.

We'll just have to see if he ever plays for Tennessee after the NCAA gets done with the traveling hookers investigation.

Pretty low calling these young girls hookers. Its obvious most of you know little to nothing about the situation and little to nothing about recruiting. Nearly every school has hostesses. The Vols just left campus which is not allowed. It looks as if they did it on there own accord though.

Don't fret Heels fans. Butch is doing a great job turning around the mess left by Bunting. Two straight 8 win seasons. 5 straight wins over ranked teams. And most of the games they do lose are close so they are almost there. On the other hand, NC State has 4 straight losing seasons and most loses were blowouts.Duke is better but still a loser. And Skinner is gone and so is Wake.

Yea you could be NC State. I loved the comment I saw the other day by the guy who said he received a Wolfpack sports calendar for Christmas. Only problem was that December and March were left out. That is not only funny, but also true.Wolfpack athletics are in a shambles.

hey, that's pretty funny about the NC State Calendar. Seems about the only thing the 'pack can do is Whip the 'heels on the field. Let the 'heels have the victories in Recruiting, we'll take the wins on the field instead.

3-0 vs UNC - State fans can brag all they want. Until you beat someone, keep the comments...they hold zero weight.

See ya in cajun country....lol.

All major colleges have "boosters" or whatever you want to call them that provide cheap, easy women for recruits and players during their playing time. What percentage of recruits get laid on "recruiting" visits? Around 100% of the ones being recruited by the big boys. Anyone oblivious to this dynamic has either never spent any time on a college campus or has lived their life with their head firmly up their rear.

Whats so bad about being NC State? They beat UNC every year in football. Check this years recruting boards, 7 of the top 20 in the Carolina's are coming to NC State. You may make the Meineke Bowl again UNC.

NC State left out the Dec and March because they don't need it....not playing in a bowl game nor a part of the NCAA March Madness
