Ed Reynolds, a linebacker from Woodberry Forest (Va.) committed to Stanford, according to scout.com. He had considered North Carolina and N.C. State.

This kid didn't even hold an offer from NC State any longer, as they have four safeties committed in this class already. I wouldn't expect you to bother to do your homework, however. Or bother to research the topic enough to find out that Ed took official visits to Unc-Ch, Duke, and Stanford...not NC State.
The claim that this "Virginia LB picks Stanford over Pack, Heels" is erroneous, to say the least. I don't understand why the Observer bothers to cover recruiting when it can't get even the basic information correct.
Coach Davi$ fail$ again. Our recruiting class is now in the 70s range. This is NOT the Carolina way!
Stanford got a steal in this kid. First team all-state at both safety and running back in Virginia's big private school league, which produced Russell Wilson. Also a smart kid, as he is a top student at one of the best boarding schools in the country. Comes from a good pedigree as well, as his father played in the NFL for many years.
I'm guessing the writer of this blog mentions State because that's still listed on his Scout profile. I seriously doubt the Observer called him since he isn't even from NC. I don't have information, but if State pulled their offer to him, I assume it's the same reason UVa did, because he didn't commit early in the process, although UVa did re-offer once Mike London took over.
Reynolds is a DB/safety and RB, not a LB.
