If you’re wondering what’s happened to running back Jerrell Rhodes since North Carolina decided it could not admit him because of disciplinary concerns, he has now committed to Memphis.
Apparently, those concerns didn’t bother the Tigers. Rhodes, according to Scout.com, becomes one of only two three-star recruits in Memphis's eight-player class at this point.
UNC, which has struggled to find a consistent RB in recent seasons, now doesn’t have one in the Class of 2010, which has slipped to 12 members currently.

UNC facilitated Rhodes going to Memphis after they decided to not admit him.
We all know the standards of athlete behavior at Memphis. A little weed smoking doesn't concern them at all.
That's because Coach Davis has been out-recruited by everyone this year! This is NOT the Carolina way! Unacceptable!
Looks like a downhill slide for UNC-CH. And their first game of the season will be against LSU? Uh-oh.
LSU - 55
UNCCH - 3
Davis was NOT out-recruited. Previous articles state that there were conduct violations which led to Rhodes going to Memphis. UNC expects more from their athletes (and coaches). Just another example of Memphis scrapping the bottle of the barrel in class.
"Davis was NOT out-recruited."
What do you call a 40 slot drop then? An improvement? Take off the baby-blue tinted specs. Coach Davis better improve soon, or else he should be shown the door.
"UNC expects more from their athletes (and coaches)."
Hahahahahahaha
Drinking and driving is ok though.
Stan, what are the Heels' chances at landing Mustafa Greene to be the lead back at Carolina?
Coach Davis recruits better that your coach whoever you are. You sound like a baphunne you clown. Bottom line we just didn't want Rhodes he was to slow and asked to play SS for us! We bust LSU tail.
