North Carolina, which earlier in the day picked up rivals.com's No. 80 prospect nationally in defensive tackle Delvon Simmons, missed out on another top linebacker target this afternoon.
Curtis Grant of Richmond, Va., who had been considering the Tar Heels, committed to Ohio State, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
Despite losing Grant, the addition of Simmons earlier in the day should ensure that North Carolina signs a top-20 class.

It's amusing that the N&O doesn't have a similar headline about NCSUx missing on basically the entire state & southeast. You continue to take shots at UNC but ignore the awful recruiting class taking shape for Toby. Why the double standard?
Pathetic.
Who is Toby? We have a TOB. Not to mention he just reported in an earlier post on a missed recruit for the Wolfpack. Why are you complaining? You guys are getting a good class, which they have been reporting on all day... quit whining.
Great class for the Tar Heels! The Spring Game on April 9th can't get here soon enough!
Go Heels!
Classic Tar Heel Outlook - can't wait till next year!!!
Now all UNC needs is a QB.
And a Coach.
And a culture that does not involve breaking most NCAA rules.
And a win against the Wolfpack
Clowney? Clowney??
Clowney? Clowney??
I am really amused by the inferiority complex State fans demonstrate. State fans are acting like they actually won the ACC, which they of course did not. Worry about your team...
You've got to love the cheater from chapel hill chiming in on these threads. Butch Davis is nothing more than a common criminal. The three stooges will pay shortly for their lies.
My God NCSU is pathetic. They really do act like they are good in ACC football. So they have beaten UNC of late...whoop-tee-do. Last time I checked, State won an ACC football title longer ago than UNC.
